When Lonnie called me in January 2018 to talk small elopement packages, I was a little taken aback to be chatting weddings with the groom to be. I am so used to interacting and planning with the bride to be. However, he asked all the right questions about what was included in our packages, what wasn’t included, how the planning unfolded etc etc. He took that information away, talked it all over with bride to be Erin, and a few days later called me back to book our Reid’s Place Elopement Package.

Elopement couples are my favourite. The focus remains on them and their commitment and in this case their official unity as a family! The rest of the elopement was planned with Erin via email.  She was a very laid back and relaxed bride and made the the whole planning process an absolute pleasure.

We chose our Reid’s Place Garden Wedding venue for their special day. It’s quaint outdoor chapel, stunning chapel gardens and private fountain courtyard provided the perfect backdrop for this intimate occasion. On a beautiful sunny Friday morning in early March they arrived. Lonnie with their son and Erin walking down the aisle with their daughter. With Kylie Starr as their celebrant, they said their vows, followed by a beautiful sand ceremony unifying their family as one! A champagne toast followed in the fountain courtyard.

After taking a few minutes to allow everything to sink in, our photographers whisked them around the gardens taking some fabulous photos and family portraits.
